LISAMCFADDEN MILLINERY is a Bronx, NY based headwear company with a mission to encourage the wearer to be creative while solving a few needs....versatility and larger sizing, all while fusing contemporary style with vintage inspiration. From casual to dramatic in moments, the CRUSH collection allows the wearer to sculpt the hat each time it's worn - bringing out one's inner artist. The handmade millinery collection are pieces created to compliment those very special occasions and to be cherished by hat lovers.

With over 20 years of experience working in the NYC fashion industry as an illustrator, fashion designer and technical designer with companies such as Ann Taylor, J Crew and Gap Inc., Lisa studied millinery while earning her BFA in Fashion Design from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated with top craftsmanship honors and was critiqued by French couturier Pierre Cardin who, upon seeing her student work, said she was a designer who 'knows her job'. 

As a member of the Milliners Guild, Lisa served on the board, was the newsletter’s editor-in-chief, appeared on Cake Boss and her headpieces entitled ‘Golden Child’ and ‘Bird of Paradise’ were displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Mezzanine Gallery.  Ms. McFadden’s story and commentary on her creative journey in the fashion industry were featured on,,, Sirius XM Channel 141 Small Business Report,, Fleek Digital Magazine, Rolling
Out magazine and Today's Black Woman.  Lisa’s

cover and story in, The Hat Magazine, National Geographic Your Shot,, Women’s Wear Daily and is a feature favorite in the fashion illustrated series, Winona, Inc.  She has not only been featured on the cover of Hatalk Magazine, but has written
articles for the hat publication. 

Ms. McFadden has created bespoke headwear for both fashion and textile designers; notably fashion icons Stephen Burrows’ for New York Fashion Week and Byron Lars with his partner Sheila Gray of In Earnest, textile firm Savel, Inc. with award winning designer Tania Vartan and Scott Bodenner at the Decoration and Design Building in New York City.  Lisa looks to future collaborations and expanding her brand to the global market with passion
projects such as her fashion short short film, Journey Cuba.
